Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The tent was incredible. Very luxurious, beautiful bedding. We sat on our little terrace for sunrise - unforgettable. Food excellent- the best breakfast we had throughout 5 different stays in Morocco.

Negative: Check in is 3pm but our tent was not ready until 4.20. As only there for one night, we were keen to check in and get comfortable. We did not find management staff very receptive to facilitating this. Having said that, we were able to use the pool without charges (which happens at other camps). The bottom pool lacked atmosphere. Service area is a dumping ground. There is still no licence, despite claims that this has been applied for going back a long time in their reviews. There was inconsistency between staff re activities. I was told by one manager that there was absolutely no room for four of us on a sunset camel ride. On returning with my wallet 3 minutes later, a different manager told me it was no problem at all and sorted it there and then. Glad I didn’t take the first staff members response as gospel. Also we noted that the camels at this camp did not appear to be well looked after compared to other camps and were tethered so closely together they could not lift their heads. 😔

Summary: Beautiful camp. Lovely food. Management responsiveness lacking. Slight feeling of style over substance
