Summary: Overall, we had a very good experience at this classy hotel: Very attentive and polite staff and lovely accomodations. But you would expect this at a 5 star hotel charging over $500 USD per night. Unfortunately, I will need to focus on a couple things that left us unimpressed. The first is structural: our garden side room provided almost no sound protection from the courtyard below. Conversations at tables just below us were loud and clear. This was especially disappointing because i messaged the hotel ahead of time to request a more remote, private room, but we were on the first floor overlooking the busiest part of the courtyard. Even so, the sound should not have carried the way it did. Basically, they need to upgrade their windows! The second concern was a service failure that was pretty absurd. We needed a direct transfer to Casablance airport (1.5-2hr away) and I consulted at the front desk one day in advance. I was told they didn't have the number for the special cab company that could handle intercity transfers but that I could hail a big white cab day of and it shouldn't be a problem. Day of, we received no assistance with obtaining the cab, never saw one and finally walked up the road to another hotel which promptly called a cab for us. It arrived 5 minutes later. Only in retrospect am I realizing how absurd the situation was with the front desk staff saying they didn't have the number to call and sending us to hail a cab in the street with no assistance.
