Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Clean. Fresh. Cozy. Safe. Great tasting foods. Kind, helpful staff who tried really hard to communicate, as I am an American who only understands a bit of Spanish and am a fluent English speaker. Decent location, walking distance to shops, banks, other restaurants and cafes. Beautiful views from the rooftop that included the castle turned museum. I wanted to stay longer, but my schedule wouldn’t allow. I even skipped an excursion to stay an extra day and relax and get some work done.

Negative: It’s a pretty new facility, so the few things I want to add were not issues for my stay, just things to consider for travelers. Remember, most Riads (if any) do not have elevators, this one included. A quick note to the staff: Although everything worked out, remember that visitors are on various schedules and need to be made aware of the procedure for entering and exiting during certain hours. I got locked inside on my way to my bus, because I had no clue, but the staff was responsive and apologetic. I have no complaints though.

Summary: What a beautiful boutique style Riad. Great modern accommodations with traditional elements. I would choose this place
