Positive: The hostel location is good. The rooftop is amazing.

Negative: There is a major issue with the cleaning products they use: they are TOXIC. These substances can enter your lungs and potentially make you feel dizzy, depending on your sensitivity to chemical products. Note that most people in my room in their 20s where not displaying any simptoms, so their experience is clearely different. Note that I have never had any alergy to products like this in any home/ hotels in Europe, USA , Maroco or Taghazout, that s the resaon I think it s important to mention. The main problems are: The bleach used on the bed sheets and cushions. The scented spray they diffuse into the air, which is filled with chemical compounds. If you are sensitive, you may end up coughing or feeling unwell. It took me four days to recover. A clear sign that you’re affected is that your breathing improves about 30 minutes after leaving the place. The worst of this adventure is that the owner does NOT care about your comments. He even is very agressive ! I have discussed with other people caughing in this place and they have similar simptomes. Finally there are NO lockers in the shared room. I put the average rating, because of the agressive behaviour of the management is an important concerne; the health of your customer is not negociable. You are just not professional. For other who may not immedialtely be sensitive to the toxicity of their products, I guess it s a 8/10. But I am rating my experience, which is clearly the worst I ever had, specially for the customer care. Important: I stayed at 6 other hostels in Taghazout in 2025 and none had air quality issues. I usually give 10/10 to places that care about guests, but heavily polluted air is unacceptable for basic health and safety. I sincerely hope this comment will trigger the manager of this hostel to improve the air quality for all of its customers and employes.

Summary: Good location but toxic chemical environnement. Owner don' care.
