Positive: La Maison Taroudant is quite a surprise! From the moment you enter through the front door from a rather typically dusty narrow street, the luxury and elegance of the property strikes you. Beautiful soft furnishings with calm spots to relax in. and to top it all, a tranquil garden full of orange trees, tropical plants and a most invitingly peaceful pool. Fery, the host, greeted us with a smile; she is utterly charming and helped us to book a restaurant for our first evening and then served us a sophisticated three-course dinner at the property the following night. Breakfast was simple and tasty. Nothing was too much trouble.

Negative: Our one disappointment was that our room was rather small and it was difficult to move around. It did however come with a pleasant en suite bathroom with soft towels and bathrobes.

Summary: A very peaceful two-night stay, made particularly special by the kindness of the host.
