Summary: The first room I was assigned had a large wet area on the carpet between the bed and the dresser under the TV. When I touched it and smelled it, it smelled like urine. I believe someone may have had a pet in that room that urinated on the carpet. And the cleaning crew didn't even catch it. I notified the front desk and they moved me to another room. When I got in that room the room was clean and the bed was made but all four pillows were stack haphazzardly in the chair with no pillow cases on them. I notified the front desk and they said they'd get me some pillow cases. I went out to dinner and returned around 9pm and the pillow cases were still not in the room. Finally around 9:30 the front desk clerk came up to my room with 4 pillow cases which I put on the pillows myself. I will never stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend this particular location to any of my family and friends who frequently visit Chesapeake, VA.
