Summary: We enjoyed our stay. We always have a good time boating and fishing. We did not use the house for anything other than cooking and sleeping. We stayed on the lake which was awesome. We are familiar with the area and the location was exactly what we expected. The decor was cluttered and overwhelming. The pictures were accurate lots of clutter. If you drink, the bar was fully stocked. There was stuff everywhere which made it hard to use the counter space. This property would be ideal for a boys trip but not idea for families with young children. The property needed to be cleaned. When we arrived the floors were dirty. The sheets were not clean. The dishes were greasy and pots were worn out. The yard needed to be cleaned. We opted to cook indoors because the gas grill was as counter top which was set up next to a wheelbarrow full of pine straw. We did not find enough charcoal to start the other grill. We enjoyed the boat dock. It needed a little TLC but we loved hanging out until late. The lake is what it is all about. The view was amazing. FYI- If you are traveling with an RV or boat trailer make sure you inquire on the details. Our 22ft boat trailer was a tight squeeze with low hanging limbs. The boat ramp is a short 5-8 minute drive.
