Tired of the hustle and bustle of everyday life? Take a walk up the flagstone steps, into a tranquil wooded setting, and you will find a spacious 4-bedroom, 2.5 bath island retreat. After opening the front door, you will enter the homes large living room with high vaulted ceilings. The living room has plenty of seating with a sectional sofa and wing chair arranged perfectly for movie night. Just past the brand-new flat screen TV/DVD player is seating for quiet conversation and two sliding glass doors out to the deck giving amazing views of the first tee at the Clipper Golf Course. To the right of the front door is one of two entrances into the kitchen. Follow the heart pine floors into the utility room with full sized washer & dryer and doorway into the two-car garage. The kitchen is a newly remodeled chef's dream with hard wood floors, granite countertops, cabinets and appliances. This kitchen even offers a separate icemaker and wine cooler! Over the bar countertop is the dining room with an oval table and seating for eight. The dining room flows into the large beach themed living room or out into the bright Carolina sun room with a comfortable wicker sectional. A perfect spot for reading on a rainy afternoon or playing board games with the family. To the left of the front door and living room is a small hallway with a half bath and bedrooms on either side. The queen bedroom features a large flat screen TV and DVD player. The Jack & Jill bathroom can be left open into the first-floor primary bedroom, or closed off to make a primary suite. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, TV, large walk-in closet, and sliding glass doors out onto the deck. This southern charmed Magnolia themed bedroom has a beautiful view of the tee box and lagoon! The back deck is accessible from the first-floor primary bedroom, living room and Carolina room. It has a glass table with seating for 8, propane grill, views of the golf course and lagoon and steps down to the in-ground pool. The sparkling cool waters of the kidney shaped pool invite you to jump in or pull up a lounge chair and enjoy the South Carolina sun. The pool has built in seating around the edges. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off sandy feet. The second floor of the home has a king-size bed in a second primary bedroom with hard wood floors, fire place, TV/DVD and Juliet balcony overlooking the golf course and lagoon. Ships ahoy in the carpeted 4th bedroom with two queen beds with a Juliet balcony overlooking the front yard. A Jack and Jill bathroom connects the two rooms. Shipyard Plantation is centrally located on beautiful Hilton Head Island and provides easy access to over 200 restaurants, unique shopping, and world-class golf. The plantation borders 12 miles of white sandy beach and offers bike paths, lagoons, golf courses, tennis courts, and an abundance of natural beauty.
