Summary: We were grateful for an upgrade to a very large room. However, there were loud popping noises at about 4:00 am. We thought they were gunshots coming from the room next to us. The lady at the desk said they were probably kids with firecrackers. That didn’t seem likely. There was a woman in the lobby that had a torch lighter that she was flicking on and off, and giggling. The back door stayed ajar. Even though the hotel room was huge and clean, we will not stay at Studio 6 in Nocodoches again. We did not feel safe.
