A Southern beauty, Casa Floerke is a legacy property that has been owned by the same family for over 25 years!
Casa Floerke has a newly renovated party pool for water polo & water basketball, large Cabana, with bar, sink, tv, upscale lounge furniture and custom rock fire pit. The new Guest House features 2 large bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms and shared living area with sleeping futon that offers maximum relaxation. The poolside Cabana is anchored by a long rock bar, with plenty of bar stools and convenient poolside 1/2 bath. The large outdoor entertainment area is sure to be the highlight of your summertime fun!
This blissful estate is located on popular River Road in Concan and is less than a 2 minute drive to the 2nd crossing on the Frio River. There are wide covered porches and large rock patios to watch the local wildlife. Deer feed and bed down at night in both the front and back yard. There's a large, historic custom built river rock grill and charcoal smoker that holds up to 200 lbs of meat for barbecue fanatics!
Excellent parking with additional parking lot that will hold everyone's vehicles, trucks and trailers, as well as circular driveway for easy in/out access.
The pool is deep and large, with lots of zero gravity lounge chairs, polo net and basketball hoop for pool fun. Outdoor activities include a basketball court, volleyball court, sunken fire pit, tetherball and horseshoes.
The main hacienda has superb, multi communal living spaces where everyone can gather to eat, watch tv, talk and play games. The Living Room has saltillo tile floor, new leather sofa and floor to ceiling river rock fireplace. The Family Room has a large leather sectional sofa, game table, overflow frig, piano & a second floor to ceiling rock fireplace.
There's also an inviting Sunroom that's the perfect spot for quiet reflection and offers ample wildlife viewing. Both the living and family room have 42" HDTV's. The sheer size of the house is filled with atmosphere, character of place and is unique. Everything at Casa Floerke was chosen for maximum relaxation for large families and easily handles the needs of multiple generations.
The standout center of this home is the recently remodeled, family-size kitchen with stainless appliances, double oven, lots of kitchen countertop space and large and granite kitchen island that holds 8 bar stools. There is also a picturesque window seat that looks out over the outdoor patio and ancient oak trees. Notice the original entrance with see through rock archways envisioned by the founder of Concan who built this stately home.
This rambling, single story rock home and Guest House has eight bedrooms & five spacious bathrooms with poolside 1/2 bath that ensures plenty of sleeping options for everyone. Four generations of Floerke family have enjoyed making memories here, while floating the Frio River.
