Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location simply could not be bettered, with the sea literally a stone's throw away and breathtaking views from the rooftop balcony where (a very good) breakfast is served. The staff were great, the room a delight and the reception first class.

Negative: Bit of a cliche but I really can't think of anything. We'd booked our room only the night before and the Palais des Remparts more than met our expectations.

Summary: Wonderful location, great staff and excellent value for money.
