Summary: We had a great stay in the cabin. Six of us were on this trip and we all loved the comfort of Birdie Blue. The beds were all soft, the blankets and pillows were cozy and everyone slept well. The outside swing is the perfect start and ending to your day. The kitchen is set up with everything that you need. We saw deer at the end of the driveway one morning and a daily red cardinal visit. The host were very responsive and appreciate their guidebook they send you upon booking. If you want a fun little free place to visit go to Horseshoe bend park in McCaysville. During the week, hardly anyone was there and it was a great place to sit and relax while our girls played in the water. Take a lunch and enjoy the views and river and it’s only a short drive from the cabin. I can’t imagine how pretty Birdie Blue would be in the fall with the trees that surround the cabin!
