Summary: The house is convenient to the streetcar line and was clean. However the smell of smoke was overwhelming upon entering and was so bad we tried to limit our time spent in the house because several of us are allergic. My kids referred to it as “smelly house”. Management was quick to respond and confirmed the property is supposed to be smoke-free, but I got the impression that it was known that the downstairs tenants smoke- especially because there are so many (empty) wall scent plug ins around the house. Besides the smell, there was no dish soap, no dining table, and no hand towels or wash rags. Perhaps these things would be ok for some visitors, but it made our stay difficult. Perhaps lean in and list the property for adults only and smoker friendly?
