Positive: The Ksar is a lovely oasis in a gritty town with limited historical or other cultural attractions, so this Ksar truly feels like an oasis in Ait Benhaddou. The interior courtyard, the architecture, and the rooms were all beautifully designed. The view of the mountains from the terrace was breathtaking. The prices are very reasonable, so this is a good value for your money.

Negative: --The food was a bit mediocre, except for the breakfast, which was good. The wine selection was limited and of lower quality. Some Spanish reservas, Chiantis, and French wines like a provencal rose should be added to the wine list and would be appreciated. (The wine list was limited to Moroccan, and not the best ones available in Morocco.) --This oasis is located in a gritty town with limited historical or other cultural attractions. Nearby Ouazarzate -- a 15 to 20 min drive -- is probably the better more interesting town in which to stay. --We had to wait 15 minutes for the receptionist to return so we could check out.

Summary: A reasonably priced and beautiful oasis in a gritty town. The mountain views are gorgeous.
