Summary: HIDDEN GEM!!! We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfect and has a great warm and inviting feel. With so many options, you really have no choice but to relax, either on the porch, in the grotto, the seating area, hammock or by the fire. You are very secluded and unplugged, but there's still a lot to do within a 10 to 15 minute drive. We visited Hamilton pool preserve, swam in the collaped grotto and hiked to the river. On another day, we went to Reimer's park and hiked the Canyon trail (A MUST!), River trail and the Back door trail(also a must). The River trail has NO SHADE, I would do that one in the early or late part of the day. The sun is brutal from 11am-3pm. There's a cool food truck park not far and another gathering area with what looked like a few stores, a coffe spot and food trucks, we just didn't have time to go. Definitely check out the Texas Gadget Store on your way in or out. The host were amazing and very accommodating. We will definitely be back to this cabin.
