Summary: Elevator sounded like it was about to fall! It jumped and shook going up and down! It scared both myself and my wife! Heater cover was broken and laying on the floor when we opened the door to room 522. I have pictures. The head of maintenance came up and pushed it back into place, but it was still broken, and it fell off during our stay during the night! We were also charged $42.53 to park our car in the open-air parking lot even with our handy-cap placard. This was their own parking lot! Check the guest record. There was an almost empty parking lot! This hotel is getting ready for a refurbish next year and yet we were charged for parking?! The front desk representative was very understanding, but she said there was nothing she could do about these unfair charges. We are seeking a refund of the parking and also a discount for the less than acceptable accommodations and unsatisfactory hotel conditions. We even asked to be moved, but that was not taken seriously.
