Positive: I came to Marrakech as a solo backpacker. I didn’t have anything booked beforehand because I travel in my rental car to different cities. I came to Marrakech for New Year’s eve and every hotel and apartment was booked. I spent 4 hours trying to find something and everything was sold out. I stumbled upon Riad Dar Margoum and it was located about 30 minutes outside of the city center. I made the reservation online and the owner Khalid personally greeted me at the Riad. I was so grateful because I was getting ready to sleep in my car. I don’t have the words to say how beautiful this place is. The pictures do not show the true beauty of this place. If anyone is reading this Please come visit this place and you will get the best service from Khalid and the Chef Morad. After traveling all over Morocco and eating breakfast on the rooftop, My jaw literally dropped at the beaty of the Atlas Mountains in the background.
