Summary: The majority of the house was great/beautiful, but two things seemed odd to me. First, the upper screened-in porch (which is adjacent to and visible from the kitchen, family, and dining room area) had an enormous amount of large spider webs (with spiders) that gave the house a haunted house look and feel. (I would have removed the 50+webs because they bothered me so much, but they were on the outside of permanently attached screens, and the webs were on the second story of the house. The webs looked like they had been in place for months. The second odd thing was that there was an internal device (either a motion detector or security camera) pointed directly at the king mattress in the master bedroom). I would like to think that it was a motion detector (for security), but it was odd that it was NOT pointed at the back door/exit in the master bedroom. The "motion detector" was pointed directly at the bed (meaning the only motion that would be detected would be from getting into, out of, or on the mattress (not motion coming from someone exiting or entering the house from the backdoor). I think this internal device should have been mounted above the entrance door to the master bedroom, which would point the motion detector directly at the back door. I do not like to think that it was a security camera (as that would be not just odd but creepy as the "motion detector" only had the red light go on when we laid on the mattress -- and not entering or exiting the master bedroom). We did put a washcloth over the "motion detector" just in case it was not a motion detector (and was a camera) that was watching our activities in bed. I hope that the management company will keep the exterior of the house better maintained as the house was very attractive (except for the spider webs). I hope the "motion detector" would be moved to a different location so that it would not monitor our movements getting in and out of the bed/mattress (or be removed entirely and placed on the outside porch attached to the master bedroom). I do think that it was a nice house, but I hope that the spider webs and the master bedroom security device would be removed.
