The Hide-A-Way restaurant is a stones throw away, the Jigger Shop a comfortable walk. Gretna lake, roller rink and rails to trails a short drive.
The house offers four bedrooms, WI-FI, Cable TV, Smart TVs, Sauna in the Primary Bedroom and a bathtub in the Primary Bathroom. The lower level is handicap friendly, featuring a walk in bathtub, a kitchenette, a queen size sleeper sofa, a large flat screen tv, and a twin size trundle bed in the adjacent room.
The house and grounds also boast a creek, gazebo, decks, and a large covered porch, and lots of parking!!!
It’s close to Hershey, Lancaster, Lebanon, and Harrisburg, with a short 30 mins. to the Harrisburg airport.
For those first time guests that are not familiar with Mount Gretna, Happy Landing and all of Mount Gretna is served by our local volunteer fire department located a stone’s throw from the house, just across the street from the Hide-A-Way Restaurant. It is not uncommon for the siren to sound at any time of day or night. There is no reason to be alarmed if it goes off during your stay as it is the way that the fire company alerts the volunteers that a call has come in that they may need to respond. We appreciate your understanding.
