Positive: Undoubtedly, the pool is the main feature, as well as the beauty of the house. Our score is modest though, as we had different expectations, partially based on the Booking.com description (it mentions we booked a villa; reality is that Al Destino is 1 house/hotel/villa in which you book 3 rooms together with other families-it would be better to not mention the idea you book a villa as that assumes a different level of privacy). We've also factored in the price point in our scoring. For nearly 500 euros a night we expected a higher level of service. Staff was nice, but (except for the owners) does not speak English and is difficult to communicate with. Service level is limited, there's no bar (either serviced or self-service) to get/order a drink or a snack, room is fine but nothing special (no bath, no coffeemaker, or other things you expect at this luxury experience price point; in one room the airco could barely make the room cooler, which was an issue at over 40C degrees during the day,). It can be arranged, but it's cumbersome: we had to wait for nearly 2 hours to get a bottle of (warm) rose, as nobody had a key and the owner was not around. This can happen, but there were too many of these inconveniences for a price like that. Clearly this is less of an issue for locals, but international holiday makers have different expectations; so maybe it's more suitable for Moroccan clients. Beware that location is far out from Marrakech (20 min drive) in a non-particularly interesting area, no real views (although sunset from first floor balcony is nice) or anything, so for such fees, it seems well overpriced. Lunch or dinner can be booked, which is convenient, tasty and well-prepared, but no choice and a little too 'ordinary' in some elements (e.g. watermelon for every dessert).
